“We are willing to reset our strategic partnership with the United States,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

Responding to a question about the invitation extended to the Georgian parliamentary delegation by Republican Congresswoman Ana Paulina Luna, the Prime Minister emphasised the significance of such a format.

We continue to patiently await a reset in relations. We remain optimistic, and we have been given opportunities to sustain that optimism, including the discussions held during the opening of the Milan Olympic Games. I am referring to the conversation between our President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, on one side, and the U.S. Vice President and Secretary of State, on the other. All of this keeps our spirits high. Naturally, engagements like parliamentary visits are also very important. We are eager to reset and strengthen the strategic partnership with the United States,” he concluded.
