The fact is that the incumbent US administration's attitude towards Georgia has changed radically and the unfair attitude that came from the previous administration and which is now being continued even more acutely towards our country by the hands of official Brussels has been stopped, - the Chairman of the Georgian Dream and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated on behalf of the Georgian Dream political council at the party office, speaking about the role of the US in the ongoing processes.
According to him, the incumbent US administration has done nothing to correct the mistakes of its predecessor in relation to Georgia.
"We have repeatedly said and once again confirm that we wish President Trump success in the fight against the "Deep State". However, we also have a reasonable suspicion that this battle may not end with the defeat of the “Deep State”, but with its rebranding, the goal of which may be to side with the US, and to drag Europe into the Russia-Ukraine war with full force, and ultimately, to destroy both of them. Time will tell all this, although, in fairness, it should also be noted that the current administration has so far done nothing to correct the mistakes of its predecessor in relation to Georgia. Unjustly imposed sanctions still remain in force, and our openly stated desire to start relations with a clean slate remains unanswered. Once again, we express our sincere desire that President Trump fulfill one of his main campaign promises and destroy the “Deep State”, otherwise, the “Deep State”, the same global war party, will destroy not only America, as Donald Trump himself noted, but also Europe,” said Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to the party chairman, “in these difficult circumstances, we must be extremely careful so that society does not succumb to the blackmail and provocations of the European bureaucracy and does not take a step that will lead to the unconditional destruction of our country.”
"Moreover, perhaps this issue is now even more of a principled one for the global war party. Today, the war rhetoric from the leaders of the EU member states is so intense that the military confrontation not only seems to have no end, but everything is being done to prolong it. The maximum armament of Ukraine, the supply of long-range weapons, the tightening of sanctions against Russia, the statements of retired generals that they are preparing for war with Russia in the near future - all this clearly demonstrates the plan of the global war party, to continue and intensify the Russian-Ukrainian war at the expense of Europe, the processes that are associated with the weakening of Europe, on the one hand, and Russia, on the other, of course, these processes will end with such an outcome. It is also worth emphasizing the decision of the EU member states, according to which 5% of GDP will be spent on armaments in the future, which exceeds 15% of the budget of these countries. This step dictated by the global war party turns European countries into militaristic countries, which, on the one hand, "further increases the risks of military escalation on the continent, while on the other hand, increasing military spending will further worsen the economic situation and social background of the European Union. In these difficult conditions, we must be extremely careful so that society does not succumb to blackmail and provocations from the European bureaucracy and does not take a step that will lead to the unconditional destruction of our country," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
