A scandal has erupted in occupied Abkhazia, where "President" Aslan Bzhania left office as a result of a popular uprising.
Documents leaked onto the Internet indicate that Lukashenko plans to build a five-star hotel and resort complex with 300 rooms with a medical spa and mud springs for his family in Abkhazia.
It is also planned to accommodate three restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a children's area with water slides, a recreational area with sports grounds and 8 separate VIP houses. At least two berths are planned to be built next to the complex. One of which is for VIP yachts.
"This nightingale sings sweetly. And what do you think, dear compatriots, what will we talk about? That's right, about our land! The old man, mentioning mutually beneficial cooperation, thinks only about how to line his own pockets,” writes the Telegram channel “Apsny apsy,” publishing the documents.
It should be noted that the protests in occupied Abkhazia began because of a draft investment agreement with the Russian Federation, which provides land plots to Russian companies. Against this background, the news about Lukashenka’s land interests in this quasi-republic looks especially acute.
