Chairman of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia, David Onoprishvili, predicts that this year the sector's revenues will surpass GEL 1.2 billion.
As he told journalists, assessing the results of the industry, the growth is obvious compared to last year.
"Last year, the sector’s income and the insurance premium exceeded 1 billion GEL, this year it will exceed 1.2 billion and may even hit 1.3 billion GEL, the growth is obvious", Onoprishvili noted.
He believes the population has become more informed and trust in the insurance industry has increased.
