Joe Biden cannot be the judge  of the elections, as well as whether the government is legitimate or not - this is how the mayor of the capital, the general secretary of "Georgian Dream", Kakha Kaladze responds to the statement of the US president Joe Biden.

As Kaladze noted, according to OSCE/ODIHR, the elections were competitive and multi-party.

"Joe Biden cannot be an evaluator of the elections, as well as whether the government is legitimate or not. This is appreciated by the OSCE/ODIHR. We heard their interim report, which was amazing, I don't remember such a report during the election and after the end. They came out directly and said that the elections were competitive, multi-party. People had the opportunity to make their own choices. As for the statements, that is why the investigation was started, so that everything would be answered. Do not leave a question mark. I want to say that whoever wants to, whether inside the country or outside the country, we give everyone the opportunity to count everything. I am convinced of our truth," Kaladze said.

For information, according to US President Joe Biden, Georgian citizens have the right to peacefully express their views regarding the conduct of elections, which international and local observers have not declared free and fair. In the statement, President Biden calls on the government of Georgia to transparently investigate all election violations, withdraw laws such as the "Foreign Influence Law" and immediately start an inclusive dialogue with all political forces in Georgia.
