The United Airports of Georgia states Wednesday that Edelweiss Air, a Swiss leisure and charter airline and the sister company of Swiss International Air Lines and a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, will start direct flights from Zurich to Tbilisi from April 12, 2025.
The flights will be performed twice a week with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Irakli Karkashadze, the CEO of the UAG, said the agreement was the result of “two years of active negotiations” with the airline.
