According to the belief of our government, Georgia naturally deserves to be a peaceful, stable and developed country - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said this during his speech at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
As the head of government noted, during the last decade, the government of Georgia made a number of difficult decisions and was not afraid of challenges."It is a great honor for me to be here with you and to give a speech in front of the representatives of different states of the world. In the belief of our government, Georgia naturally deserves to be a peaceful, stable and developed country. Considering this, during the last decade, we ensured the development of Georgia along this trajectory. We have made a number of difficult decisions and have never been afraid of challenges. We never choose the easy way - we always give priority to our state and people. As a result, we are regaining the pride of our nation - the pride and dignity that a country with a 3,000-year history has earned," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
