According to the agency, delegations from more than 40 countries, heads of international organizations and business sector, leading leaders from the tourism industry came to Georgia to participate in the World Tourism Day event. First Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili and Deputy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili will take part in the event.

This year's theme of the World Tourism Day is "Tourism and Peace". Various discussion panels will be held within the event. During the discussion, the speakers will discuss the world trends and trends of tourism development, the importance of peace in the process of industry development, and issues of cooperation between countries in this direction. Presentations and bilateral meetings will also be held within the framework of the event.
