The Georgian national currency strengthened to the US dollar on 8 August. The lari was up 0.0006 tetri to GEL 2.6970 per U.S. dollar.
According to the National Bank of Georgia, the national currency gained 0.0099 tetri of its value to GEL 3.1367 per EUR.
