The net profit of commercial banks soared by GEL 250 million in June, the sector ended the first half of the year with a 1,260 billion profit. The operating profit of banks exceeds 1.5 billion.
As of July 1 (H1/2023), 12 out of 15 banks see profits (collective assets: ₾1,262 billion), etc. The net profit of 6 of them exceeds GEL 20 million in 6 months. Six banks account for 94% of the total profits.
