In February 2024, a total of 18.4 million e-commerce operations were carried out with Georgian card instruments, amounting to 1.3 billion GEL that is 53% more compared to the previous year.
According to the National Bank, compared to the same period of last year, both the number of transactions and the amount soared, in February 2023, a total of 12.3 million e-commerce transactions were carried out, totaling 803 million GEL.
In January-February , 36.6 million e-commerce operations were carried out, totaling 2.6 billion GEL.
Note: in February 2024, a total of 77 million operations, amounting to 7 billion GEL were carried out with Georgian card instruments in Georgia and abroad.
