Located in Kvariati, the Glamping Martini Kvariati tourist complex, which currently comprises four cottages, is undergoing expansion. As noted by the company founder Khatuna Koridze, the construction of a new cottage has already commenced, with plans to welcome the first guests next summer.
According to Khatuna Koridze, the investment costs for the project totaled GEL 500,000, the summer season proved to be successful.
"We have two standard cottages: one with a pool, the other equipped with a jacuzzi. Each cottage accommodates 2-4 people. This summer season was quite positive, as we operated at full capacity for three consecutive months. Currently, we maintain a 100% occupancy rate, and compared to the same period of last year, the number of visitors remained at the same level. 80% of our customers are foreign tourists, while the remaining 20% are local residents. During the summer, 60% of our foreign guests hailed from the Gulf countries (Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates), with 20% being Europeans," says the founder of the cottage complex.
Along with that, the businesswoman talks about Asian tourists and emphasizes that Asian guests have different requirements than European guests, for example, in terms of food.
«As a rule, guests stay from 1 to 5 days. As for the price range, the cost of one night in the cheapest cottage in the summer season starts from GEL 360 and goes up to GEL 460. In general, this tourist segment has a high spending capacity.
As for the growth of the number of customers, we are registered on many online platforms, and interaction with social networks and active marketing today is very profitable in terms of sales. We spend quite a lot of money on it, which has a positive effect on business,» - the manager notes.
Note: the tourist complex Glamping Martini Kvariati, consisting of 4 cottages, has been operating on the local market for the third year.
