In January-May 2026 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 70.3 percent. The top partners were Kyrgyzstan (USD 355.2 million), China (USD 327.5 million) and Azerbaijan (USD 269.3 million).
In January-May 2026 the share of the top ten trading partners by imports in the total imports of Georgia amounted to 70.9 percent. The top partners were Türkiye (USD 1 162.0 million), Russia (USD 983.4 million) and China (USD 849.7 million).
In January-May 2026 the share of the top ten trading partners in the total external trade turnover of Georgia amounted to 66.5 percent. The top trading partners were Türkiye (USD 1 387.5 million), Russia (USD 1 232.1 million) and China (USD 1 177.2 million).
In January-May 2026 motor cars claimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 734.6 million with 23.6 percent of total exports. The exports of petroleum and petroleum oils totaled USD 366.6 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 11.8 percent. The exports of precious metal ores and concentrates occupied the third place standing at USD 255.6 million and constituting 8.2 percent of the total exports.
The top import commodities in January-May 2026 were motor cars, whose imports equaled USD 1 251.4 million (17.1 percent of the total imports). The petroleum and petroleum oils followed in the list with USD 635.5 million (8.7 percent of imports). The Medicaments put up in measured doses were third in the top import commodity list with USD 295.9 million (4.0 percent of imports).
