Speaking on the "Commersant" program, Merab Lominadze, founder of ET Sinergy, discussed the trends in the global ferroalloys market.
In his words, Georgia currently has a chance to capture the Turkish market.
He believes the country should move with all haste so that companies from other nations, for instance, from India, do not gain a competitive advantage over us.
I believe Georgia should fully leveraged and appropriately managed any chance.
While predicting the future of the Middle East conflict is difficult, one thing is clear: Turkey needs ferroalloys now, and we must occupy this market niche today. If we don't, others certainly will.
"While Indian companies are unable to adapt to the new reality, I think we should occupy this niche and enable Georgian companies to compete fairly with Indian and other ferroalloys in the Turkish market," Merab Lominadze points out.
