The exports equaled 3 876.3 million (20.0 percent higher), while the imports stood at USD 9 049.1 million (0.7 percent higher). The negative trade balance was USD 5 172.9 million in January-June 2026 and its share in external trade turnover constituted 40.0 percent.
In January-June 2026 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 69.8 percent. The top partners were Kyrgyzstan (USD 431.8 million), China (USD 428.6 million) and Azerbaijan (USD 335.9 million).
In January-June 2026 the share of the top ten trading partners by imports in the total imports of Georgia amounted to 70.6 percent. The top partners were Türkiye (USD 1 392.3 million), Russia (USD 1 195.5 million) and China (USD 1 068.1 million).
