External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 10 266.2 million in January-June 2023, 20.1 percent higher year-on-year.
Exports increased by 19.2 percent totaling USD 3 050.4 million, while imports increased 20.4 percent and amounted to USD 7 215.8 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 4 165.4 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 40.6 percent.
