With the organizational and financial support of the National Wine Agency, a SOMM TV film crew visited Georgia.
During their visit to Georgia, SOMM TV representatives attended the celebrations marking National Wine Day on 8 May this year. They also visited wineries in the regions of Kakheti and Kartli, where they explored Georgia’s centuries-old winemaking traditions and contemporary wine culture.
The one-hour documentary is scheduled to air on SOMM TV and be released via its YouTube channel and social media platforms in the summer of this year.
The promotion of Georgia as one of the world’s oldest winemaking countries through SOMM TV’s highly rated programmes will significantly contribute to increasing the awareness and sales of Georgian wine in the strategic U.S. market.
