"We need to introduce mandatory insurance for insolvent activities in the tourism sector right away," Nika Kvaratskhelia, founder of Diverse Travel, said in an interview with Commersant.
In his words, unfair companies are currently working in this sector, harming consumers and the tourism industry.
The mandatory insurance for insolvent businesses has been delayed until 2030 that, in my opinion, was unnecessary. I recognize that this will undoubtedly affect the tourism sector to some extent, but I firmly believe its implementation is crucial right now, given that many companies are bringing the tourism market into disrepute. Because of their own irresponsibility, people often fall victim to fraud and lose a certain amount of money, some of which they may or may not be able to recover,” Nika Kvaratskhelia points out.
