In January-May 2023 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 2 502.9 million, 18.6 percent higher year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 49.2 percent and amounted to USD 1 232.4 million, 22.9 percent lower to the same period of 2022.
In January-May 2023 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 76.9 percent. The top partners were Russia (USD 219.3 million), China (USD 176.2 million) and Turkey (USD 152.6 million).
In January-May 2023 copper ores and concentrates claimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 310.6 million, or 25.2 percent of total exports. The exports of wine of fresh grapes totaled USD 103.3 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 8.4 percent. The exports of ferro-alloys occupied the third place, standing at USD 86.5 million and constituting 7.0 percent of the total exports.
