According to the Union of Oil Products Importers, the gasoline and diesel import increased. Russia accounts for the largest share of imports.

In January-June the gasoline and diesel import stood at 620,2 thousand tons that is 66 thousand tons or 11,9% more compared to the same period of 2023 (554,2 thousand tons).

In six months of 2023, the import of gasoline fuel amounted to 307,2 thousand tons, diesel imports stood at 313 thousand tons.

By categories, in January-June 2023, the import of gasoline fuel was as follows: A-91 Regular gasoline - 165,1 thousand tons (53,7%); A-95 Premium gasoline - 136 thousand tons (44,3%); A-98 Super gasoline — 6,1 thousand tons (2%).

The largest volume of gasoline and diesel was imported from Russia - 327,2 thousand tons that is 52,8% of total imports. Followed by Bulgaria- 84,7 thousand tons- 11%; Azerbaijan- 56,4 thousand tons- 9,1%; Belarus – 33,2 thousand tons — 5,3 %; Turkmenistan -

17,2 thousand tons - 2,8%; Greece- 13,5 thousand tons- 2,2%; Turkey- 6,9 thousand tons- 1,1%; Cyprus - 6.3 thousand tons - 1%; and others.
