In January-May 2026 the external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 10 439.5 million, 3.7 percent higher year-on-year.
The exports equaled 3 107.7 million (19.8 percent higher), while the imports stood at USD 7 331.9 million (1.9 percent lower).
The negative trade balance was USD 4 224.2 million in January-May 2026 and its share in external trade turnover constituted 40.5 percent.
