As per TBC Capital study, in June 2023, growth of non-cash spending on groceries, through TBC Bank’s channels, remained stable, with growth rate totaling 23%. The average spending per transaction equaled GEL 15.

In June 2023, growth of non-cash spending in hotels, through TBC Bank’s channels, significantly increased and reached 25% annual growth rate compared to 2022. Average spending per transaction in hotels also improved, amounting to GEL 342.

In June 2023, growth of non-cash spending by non-residents, through TBC Bank’s channels, improved and reached 62% compared to 2019.

In June 2023, non-cash spending in restaurants, through TBC Bank’s channels, improved, with  growth rate reaching 27%. Average spending per transaction in restaurants  posted a higher level compared to previous month, amounting to GEL 28 per transaction.

Non-cash spending on entertainment, through TBC bank’s channels, increased and annual growth rate reached 68%.
