As of June 2023, the Harmonized Consumer Price Index HICP increased by 0.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to HICP, the largest growth is observed in the alcohol and tobacco sector that is 7.4% higher than last year, food and non-alcoholic beverage prices decreased by 1.2% per year, utility bills (housing, water, electricity, gas and heating) prices fell by 3.6%.
A high growth is registered in the HoReCa sector (7.2%). The education sector also increased significantly by 7%.
According to HICP, a decline is observed in healthcare (-7.2%), transport (-12.1%) and communications (-2.7%).
