The status of an innovative start-up will be determined in Georgia and companies with this status will be exempted from all taxes for 3 years, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said during his speech at the event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Innovation and Technology Agency.
According to the Prime Minister, the relevant bill will be initiated by the Government of Georgia in the near future.
"For the further strengthening of the innovative ecosystem, new initiatives are very important, among which I would like to highlight a decision that will certainly play a very important role in the development of the system. The status of an innovative start-up will be determined in Georgia and companies with this status will be exempted from all taxes for 3 years. This is a very important initiative. The relevant draft law will be initiated by the Government of Georgia in the near future", said Irakli Kobakhidze.
