At Basisbank, employee satisfaction and a supportive work environment are strategic priorities. Since 2023, fostering a thriving workplace for the bank's growing team has been a key objective. To achieve this, the BB Unity project was launched, designed to enhance employee engagement, motivation, team spirit, and loyalty. A comprehensive action plan was developed, incorporating various initiatives and benefits.

As part of BB Unity, more than 100 impactful activities were organized across Georgia with the active participation of Basisbank employees, including:

  • Engagement in charitable initiatives

In 2024, Basisbank was honored as the "Responsible Employer of the Year" at the Georgian Responsible Business Competition, MELIORA. The bank also earned recognition in the "Society Support" category, where its project, "Basisbank - Supporter of Social Enterprises," was a finalist.

As part of BB Unity, Basisbank collaborated with four Georgian artists who spent months creating a unique series of artworks. The final collection consists of 1,000 fragments, each offering employees an opportunity to engage with abstract art and interpret it individually. Together, these pieces form a cohesive series, symbolizing Basisbank’s core philosophy-unity.

The implementation of BB Unity has led to notable improvements in employee satisfaction, productivity, and company loyalty. Notably, the employee turnover rate decreased by 7%. The initiative has played a crucial role in fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace where employee well-being is a top priority, and teamwork is encouraged.

Moving forward, Basisbank plans to expand and refine BB Unity, incorporating employee feedback to ensure its continued success and impact.
