Starting in March 2026, a new Dutch rail company called GoVolta will launch budget-friendly international train services connecting Amsterdam to Berlin and Hamburg.
Tickets will start as low as 10 euros, making it a much cheaper alternative to flying or driving. These trains will run three times a week initially, moving to a daily service by summer. Every passenger is guaranteed a seat in one of the 11 carriages, which also include a lounge car for food and drinks.
The company plans to expand to Paris by December 2026, with future routes to Copenhagen, Munich, and Basel.
