„Bashar Assad and his family are in Moscow, Russia does not betray friends in difficult situations,” he wrote on his Telegram channel. According to the diplomat, this is the difference between the Russian Federation and the USA.

Earlier, the Kremlin announced that Assad and members of his family were granted asylum in Russia for humanitarian reasons.
