Ambassadori Island Batumi has unveiled City Mall Batumi, a major new retail and lifestyle development to be delivered by IG Development Georgia within the Ambassadori Island Batumi territory. The project marks an important milestone in the development of the Island’s multifunctional infrastructure. City Mall Batumi will bring together more than 300 international and local brands, dining outlets, entertainment zones, and a diverse range of essential everyday services under one roof.
Highlighting the project’s significant scale, the landmark development will feature a total gross construction area of 170,000 m², making it one of the largest shopping centres in the region.
The partnership agreement between Ambassadori Island Batumi and IG Development Georgia was officially signed in 2025. At the current stage of development, the shopping centre’s name, scale, and core architectural concept have been finalized. The grand opening of City Mall Batumi is scheduled for 2029.
City Mall Batumi will establish a vibrant new destination on Ambassadori Island, designed to serve future residents, visitors to Batumi, and fashion and shopping enthusiasts from across the wider region. The modern retail complex will feature an extensive range of flagship brand stores, a cinema, entertainment facilities, and comprehensive lifestyle services. Its distinctive architectural concept is also designed to make City Mall Batumi one of the Island’s signature landmarks.
