US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Canada was "destroying itself" over a potential trade deal with China.
"Canada is systematically destroying itself. The China deal is a disaster for them," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The US president also said he expects the deal with Beijing to be one of the worst in history.
On Saturday, Trump said that if Canada made a deal with China, all Canadian goods entering the US would be immediately subject to 100% tariffs.
