In the first 10 months of 2025, Georgia's protected areas welcomed 1,155,187 visitors, a 10% increase year-on-year, according to the Agency of Protected Areas.


"The top attractions were Prometheus Cave, Martvili Canyon, Mtirala National Park, Sataplia Canyon, and Tsalka Canyon."

"The number of international tourists has also risen by 10%, which further emphasizes the increasing global interest in Georgia's natural resources."

"The Protected Areas Agency is implementing a number of ecotourism development projects, the goal of which is to create safe and comfortable conditions for visitors to protected areas," the information states.
