It can be said with confidence that Georgia is more independent and sovereign than ever before, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at the government meeting.
As Kobakhidze noted, this is the situation we must beware of.
“Georgia has managed to not only maintain its independence to this day, but also to strengthen it even more. Independence is something we must take special care of in the future. Independence requires constant vigilance, it can be said with confidence that Georgia is more independent and sovereign than ever before. This is the situation we must beware of. On this day, we must especially remember those people who have sacrificed their most precious thing - their lives - for the idea of independence over the years. We must especially pay tribute to our soldiers who sacrificed their lives in wars for the independence of Georgia,” Kobakhidze said.
