After 32 years of inactivity, from May 6 Ikar Airlines launches flights from Nizhny Novgorod to Sukhumi.
The flight was originally scheduled for late night on May 6, but was postponed to May 7 due to the threat of a Ukrainian drone attack.
The airline will operate flights to occupied Abkhazia from Nizhny Novgorod.
Note: the first flight from Sukhumi Airport was operated by the Russian-sanctioned airline UVT AERO on May 1.
