A medical equipment plant might be built in Georgia, the initiative was announced by Director of Expo Med Batumi 2023 Osman Çalışkan-Mzhavanadze when delivering his speech at the 4th International Exhibition of Medical Tourism Technologies and Equipment.
“The pandemic has shown us the need to produce domestically. For this purpose, a lot was planned within the frames of the Produce in Georgia program. I know that Georgia is set to produce medical equipment and carry out its export," Osman Çalışkan-Mzhavanadze notes.
Expo Med Batumi was held on July 7, 8 and 9 in the Batumi Sports Palace, about 60 companies from 5 countries took part in it.
