The opposition is in a difficult position - they are doing with their own hands the work that we should have done. With this opposition, the country cannot continue its political life for a long time, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Baku, thus answering the question that the oppositionists do not go to the prosecutor's office for questioning in the case of possible election fraud.

According to him, the existing opposition should be replaced by "new, healthy political forces".

There is no evidence [of election fraud] in nature. As for the pre-election period, the environment was unprecedentedly calm and no significant violations were observed. As for the day of the elections, the procedures were carried out essentially electronically. More than 90% of the voters voted electronically, before that they were registered electronically and their votes were counted electronically. Therefore, the opposition actually ran into electronic devices and became invincible in all of this due to the fact that everything went with absolute precision. The election results were counted at a very fast pace. Therefore, there is nothing to complain about. Therefore, the opposition is in a difficult situation and they cannot cooperate with the prosecutor's office, despite the call of the State Department. They are doing with their own hands the work that we should have done. With this opposition, the country cannot continue its political life for long. This opposition should be replaced by new, healthy political forces. Actually, processes are leading here with their own hands", said Irakli Kobakhidze.
