Thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is constantly working, for the resolution related to IDPs to have wide support, - the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, told journalists.
As Irakli Kobakhidze noted, the number of supporters of the UN resolution is increasing year by year.
"The number of supporters of the UN resolution is increasing year by year, for this we are especially grateful to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is constantly working to ensure that the resolution related to IDPs has wide support. Last year, for the first time, we achieved triple-digit support for a resolution, and this year we had a record number of 103 countries supporting our resolution. This is a special merit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and thanks to the Minister, for the work done by the Ministry as a whole, to each diplomat who did everything. I thank China for maintaining the position it held before," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
