The visit of Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili to the People's Republic of China has begun.
A welcome ceremony for the head of government was held at Chengdu International Airport.
The Prime Minister was met at the airport by the Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China, the Governor of Sichuan Province, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Georgia and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the People's Republic of China.
Student athletes took part in the welcome ceremony.
Irakli Gharibashvili arrived in the People's Republic of China together with a delegation- the governmental administration reports.
