Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Seah Kian Peng during his official visit to the country.
According to the Government Administration, Kobakhidze thanked the Speaker for hosting the Georgian delegation and highlighted the long-standing partnership between Georgia and Singapore across various fields.
The sides noted the active cooperation between the two countries’ legislatures and welcomed the positive momentum in the development of interparliamentary relations.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of further intensifying political dialogue, deepening sectoral cooperation, and maintaining constructive collaboration within international organizations, the Government Administration said.
During the visit, the Prime Minister also signed the Parliament of Singapore’s honorary guest book.
