European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, will present the 2025 Enlargement Package to members of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee.
According to the European Parliament's information, debates on this issue will also take place, focusing on the progress made by candidate and potential candidate countries on the path to EU membership.
Following the Commission's assessment of reforms related to the EU in the aforementioned countries, the committee's rapporteurs will draft resolutions with Parliament's conclusions and recommendations for each country.
As a reminder, a few days ago, the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pavel Hercinski, stated that the enlargement report on Georgia will be published on November 4. "It will be a very long and substantial document presented by the European Commission, where it will be described in detail what happened in Georgia over the last year and how it relates to Georgia's aspiration to become an EU member. November 4 is a very important date; on that day, a press conference will be held in Brussels, hosted by European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas and Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos. On the same day, November 4, I will also hold a press conference in Tbilisi to answer detailed questions about how well or poorly Georgia is performing," the ambassador noted.
