Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. President Donald Trump will meet in Washington on August 7-8, the Armenian government's press service said.

"On August 7-8, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will pay a visit to the United States. In Washington DC, PM Pashinyan will have a bilateral meeting with President of the United States, Donald Trump on fostering Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership, and a trilateral meeting with President of the United States Donald Trump and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev aiming to advance peace, prosperity and economic cooperation in the region," the press service said.

Pashinyan and Aliyev held their previous meeting in Abu Dhabi on July 10. "It was confirmed that bilateral negotiations constituted the most effective format for discussing all issues related to the normalization process, and a decision was made to continue result-oriented dialogue on that basis," the Armenian Foreign Ministry said then.

The leaders "noted progress in the border delimitation process and tasked respective state commissions with continuing practical work in that area," it said.

"The sides also agreed on further negotiations and confidence building measures," the ministry said.
