«We are at the peak of the season, and the occupancy rate of hotels is at 99.9%», Maya Makhatadze, founder of the „Radar“ company says while assessing the summer tourist season of 2025. She notes that the number of guests and the occupancy rates in hotels affiliated with «Radar» are quite satisfactory.

«Currently, Radar manages 5 hotels, 2 of which are in the planning stage. We assess the situation based on the 3 operational hotels. We are now in the peak season, which means that the occupancy rate of Radar hotels is at 99.9%», says Maya Makhatadze.

The founder of Radar highlights that the geography of guests at these hotels are quite "diverse."

Under the Radar umbrella there are no premium hotels, they are all boutique-class 4-star. These hotels are so well positioned that they accept exactly what they have planned and announced, and precisely the segment to which they are oriented, and consequently do not experience disappointments in price policy. In other words, they know exactly from which countries they are expecting visitors, and since their diversification has been worked out from the beginning, they adhere to that direction. In our case we deal with a mixed Asian market, a special growth is observed from the CIS countries, as well as we have low- budget Europe tours’, says Makhatadze.

The founder of Radar claims that the number of nights spent by tourists in one hotel is quite satisfactory.

«We have long overnight stays in the hotel apartments and 3-4 nights in boutique hotels. I can honestly say that 3-4 nights is quite normal and acceptable for an average hotel. In the apartment hotels they spend 5-7 nights that is also a good figure», - says Makhatadze.
