In November, Georgia's foreign debt stood at $8.642 billion.

As of November 2023, the state debt amounted to  $8.646 billion, or 23.455 billion GEL at the then exchange rate.

As of November 2024, the government's direct external debt was $8.271 billion, of which $6.264 billion was owed to multilateral creditors and $1.506 billion to bilateral creditors.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) – $2.263 billion

World Bank, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) – $1.633 billion

European Investment Bank (EIB) – $1.081 billion

World Bank, International Development Association (IDA) – $488.4 million

 International Monetary Fund (IMF) - $177.4 million

As of November 2024, Georgia has the highest  debt to the following countries:

France - $770.3 million

Germany - $568.4 million

Japan - $125.8 million

Austria - $11.1 million

Kuwait - $10.08 million
