The CEO and President of Calamos Investments, John Koudounis, delivered a striking forecast for the future of Bitcoin, predicting that the cryptocurrency’s value will soar to $1 million by the year 2030.

The bold projection by the Greek-American finance leader was made during a high-profile panel discussion at the Bitcoin MENA conference held in Abu Dhabi.

When explicitly asked to predict the value of one Bitcoin in five years, Koudounis offered the dramatic response: “I can see it at one million.”
