Last year, the National Food Agency conducted supervision of 872 business operators. According to the report, administrative violations were identified in 3,241 cases. As we read in the document, HACCP audits, including verification of compliance with the instructions, were conducted at 231 business operators.

According to the 2024 data, as a result of the detection of facts of use and sale of expired and/or unsuitable food, the Agency destroyed the following products:


Meat and meat products - 15,416 kg.


Other solid food - 7,169 kg.


Liquid food - 6,713 liters.


Eggs - 726 pcs.

It is noteworthy that the rate of destruction of all categories of goods has decreased compared to 2023. In particular, 37,173 kg of meat and meat products, 19,480 kg of other solid food products, 599 liters of liquid food and 891 eggs were destroyed in 2023.

In 2024, the National Food Agency conducted 36,985 state inspections (18,422 inspections), including 8,681 scheduled; Unscheduled - 1,189, for recognition purposes - 274; verification 8,278; documentary inspection - 11,287; As part of the monitoring program, 6,174 samples of various types of food products/drinking water were examined. The violation rate was 9.5%.
