Georgia's truck imports are rising.
Sakstat reports that the country brought 16,085 trucks worth $198.4 million in January-November 2024 hitting a 15-year record.
According to the same data, 14,491 trucks worth $154.185 million were imported in 11 months of 2023.
As for importing countries, Georgia buys trucks mainly from China, Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands and France.

China - 1,248 units worth $49.250 million (average price of one unit is $39.4 thousand)
Germany - 4,609 units worth $40.625 million (average price of one unit is $8.8 thousand)
Turkey - 625 units worth $30.304 million (the average price of one unit is $48.5 thousand)
The Netherlands - 2,449 units worth $14.735 million (average price per unit $6,000)
France - 851 units worth $11.631 million (average price of one unit is $13.6 thousand)
Apart from that, Georgia buys trucks in Japan, Poland, Belgium, etc.
Re-exports also hit record high. In January-November 2024, 4,683 units of trucks worth $ 54,717 million were exported from Georgia against 4,024 units worth $43,052 million in the same period of the previous year.
