The exports of services of Georgia amounted to USD 7 706.3 million in 2024, 9.1 percent higher to the data of 2023. The imports equaled USD 3 814.8 million accordingly, it is 5.4 percent higher than the previous year. The positive trade balance was USD 3 891.5 million, that is 13.0 percent higher than the trade balance of 2023.
In 2024 travel reclaimed the first place in the list of top export types of services, equaling USD 4 425.4 million with 57.4 percent of total exports. The exports of transport services totaled USD 1 716.7 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 22.3 percent. The telecommunications, computer and information services occupied the third place standing at USD 842.3 million and constituting 10.9 percent of the total exports.
The top types of services by imports in 2024 were transport services whose imports equaled USD 2 265.9 million (59.4 percent of the total imports). Travel followed in the list with USD 485.9 million (12.7 percent of imports). Other business services were third in the list with USD 285.7 million (7.5 percent of imports).
In 2024, the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of services of Georgia amounted to 57.6 percent. The largest exporters were Russia (USD 985.7 million), Türkiye (USD 980.0 million) and Israel (USD 515.0 million).
In 2024, the share of the top ten trading partners by imports of services of Georgia amounted to 51.2 percent. The largest importers were United States (USD 413.4 million), Türkiye (USD 351.6 million) and China (USD 322.2 million).
