External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 1 597.5 million in January 2026, 24.2 percent lower year-on-year.
The value of export increased by 19.0 percent reaching USD 480.4 million, while the import decreased by 34.5 percent and amounted to USD 1 117.0 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 636.6 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 39.9 percent.
