The surge in fuel price at filling stations commenced in March, and diesel saw the most significant price hike over the last two months. Latest data shows diesel fuel costs 4.39 GEL. As for gasoline, the price of the most in-demand Regular is 3.63 GEL.

Fuel prices in Georgia have been on the rise since March, due to hostilities in Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz that caused the increase in oil prices on global markets.
