External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 8 132.1 million in January-April 2026, 1.7 percent higher year-on-year.
The value of export increased by 21.1 percent reaching USD 2 439.8 million, while the import decreased by 4.9 percent and amounted to USD 5 692.3 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 3 252.5 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 40.0 percent.
