David Urbaneja-Furelos, a senior official at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), shared positive economic forecasts for Georgia in an interview with bm.ge.
He reported that the country have experienced GDP growth in recent years, with increases in both overall GDP and GDP per capita.
The ADB has observed expansion into new sectors, contributing to this economic growth. Urbaneja-Furelos expressed optimism about the trajectory of these economies, citing growth in tourism, energy investments, overall infrastructure development, and the financial sector.
He stated that the ADB is committed to supporting both sovereign operations and private sector initiatives to further strengthen the economic backbone of the country.
