Any kind of benefits are definitely very good for business, although this bill will enter into force in 2025, it is difficult to predict what will happen in two years,” Keti Kvichidze, founder of the Gastronomic Tourism Business Association said in the air of the radio station "Commersant". She spoke about the bill that envisages the exemption of agro-tourism and wine-tourism activities from income and profit taxes.

In Kvichidze’s words , all kinds of incentives, especially income tax incentives and profit tax, will be a good opportunity for companies to invest in business development.

“It is difficult to run small businesses, this step from the state is not bad as it is their duty to register a small business and offer some kind of benefits. Business needs investments, so  preferential loans, various grants from donors and all kinds of benefits will have a good effect on small businesses. Fos us, as for a developing country, all kinds of assistance is important, including infrastructural," Keti Kvichidze notes.

She adds that until 2019 a large number of citizens wanted to pour money into small businesses, but the pandemic started and the pace slowed down. But now demand for this market is back.

“We’ve launched a new project such - a wine road, in the near future a family restaurant road is also planned, I think that this will also boost the development of gastronomic tourism and families.”

Keti Kvichidze explains that the expectations regarding the summer season have not justified.

"The weather was bad. For European tourists, who plan a trip in advance, our country is a war zone as Russia is our neighbor which occupied our territories. For this reasons, they refrain from visiting Georgia. As for visitors from Asian countries, they also face problems with visas, apart from that, our country in terms of wine and dairy gastronomy is not interesting for them," Keti Kvichidze stresses.

She talks about the importance of marketing campaigns, apart from that, in her opinion, word of mouth around the pollution of the Black Sea also has a significant impact.
